December Wrap Up

Praise the Lord,

We are thankful at Apostolic Pentecostal Church for the joy that was felt in the month of December.  How great it is to celebrate the coming of our Saviour in a manger. And to herald as the angels did that holy night, the announcement of our King's birth.

December was filled with many opportunities to be gathered with friends and family. APCGI hosted the annual United Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ Christmas Sing.  We had several in attendance from different assemblies singing and telling about the good news of Jesus. Thank you to the APCGI family for your hard work in making this a blessed event.

As a church family we celebrated Christmas with the Golden Living Center-Brandywine residences and staff. There is always a beautiful presence of the Lord when we visit Golden Living. Several residences gathered around the piano to sing "Joy to the World," "Amazing Grace," and so many more hymns. It is a blessing to all of us to be joined together with souls that are hungry for a touch from the Master's hand.

The month continued with celebration as APCGI held its Family Christmas Party.    The young people made ornaments and everyone took part in the "Dollar Store" gift exchange. The continuous laughter and fellowship filled each heart with joy.  We also celebrated Christmas with "Christmas Cheer" with Pastor and Sis. Riggs.  We are thankful for Pastor and Sis. Riggs opening there home for friends and family to gather for fellowship. APCGI continued with the Christmas season as we held our Christmas Sunday service. The young people did sign language to the song "Mary Did You Know." Steadfast sang an orginal song titled, "When Heaven Touches Earth," written by Bro. Travis Jones.  The sign team signed the song "What Mercy Did For Me." Pastor Riggs spoke an annointed message speaking of how times in the days of Jesus are similar to the days we are living in now. And how we must be ready for the Lord's coming.  How thankful we are for God's salavation plan and the grace and mercy for all men to seek for.

APCGI celebrated with Bro. Connor Griffith as he received the infilling of the Holy Ghost with the evidance of speaking in other tongues. He was also baptized in Jesus Name surrounded by his friends and family.  Priase the Lord! We are thankful for what God is doing with our young people

We ended 2018 as we started it, in prayer. APCGI ended 2018 with its Watch Night Service, taking part in foot washing and commuion. Following service we gathered together for fellowship and prayer as we prayed the old year out and the new year in. What better way to begin 2019 but with prayer.

Please stay up to date with our calendar as well as view our Photo Gallery of past events. Like us on social media (Facebook; Instagram; Twitter) to see and hear what is happened at 5th and Cherry. We hope to see everyone soon. God Bless!
